EduOnTrack Website Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how EduOnTrack LLC handles information on eduontrack.com, the company website used to describe our products and provide contact information. It does not replace the product-specific policies for DeviceOnTrack or ClassOnTrack.

1. What This Website Does

Eduontrack.com is a public informational website. It describes EduOnTrack LLC, links to DeviceOnTrack and ClassOnTrack, and provides an email link for product, support, and business questions. The site does not provide a user account, student session, managed-device dashboard, payment checkout, or student-data upload feature.

2. Information You Choose to Send

The Contact page uses a mail link rather than a website form. Clicking the link opens the email application configured on your device; eduontrack.com does not receive a form submission merely because the Contact page is opened.

If you email EduOnTrack LLC, we receive your email address and the information you include. A typical product inquiry may contain your name, role, school or district, product interest, approximate device count or classroom use case, rollout timeline, and the substance of your question. Do not include student records, passwords, payment-card numbers, precise device locations, or other sensitive information unless we specifically request information needed to address an authorized support or privacy matter.

3. Technical Information

The website's hosting and security provider may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested page, request time, response status, and security or error logs. This information is used to deliver the site, maintain availability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical problems.

4. Cookies and Analytics

Eduontrack.com does not currently set application login cookies, use advertising cookies, install third-party advertising pixels, or run a behavioral analytics service. The site uses a small local script only for page navigation and smooth scrolling. Our hosting provider may still create operational and security logs as described above.

5. Product-Specific Data Practices

Following a product link takes you to a separate service with different data practices. Review the applicable policy before using that product:

  • DeviceOnTrack Privacy Policy explains administrator accounts, managed Chromebook identifiers, heartbeat, location, recovery, quotes, and billing information.
  • ClassOnTrack Privacy Policy explains teacher accounts, lessons, student session participation, enterprise extension telemetry, optional snapshots, and billing information.

A school agreement, order form, or data-processing addendum may provide additional instructions for a particular customer deployment.

  • School Student Data Privacy Addendum provides FERPA, COPPA, security-incident, subprocessor, export, retention, and deletion terms for school deployments.
  • Security Overview describes the administrative and technical safeguards currently used across EduOnTrack products.

EduOnTrack maintains a separate Service Providers and External Services page identifying the production services that receive information for these operational purposes. We do not list ordinary open-source libraries, development tools, or internal tools that do not receive production customer information.

6. How We Use Website and Contact Information

  • Respond to product, support, privacy, partnership, and business questions.
  • Identify which EduOnTrack product and deployment path fits the inquiry.
  • Prepare requested follow-up, demonstrations, quotes, or support.
  • Protect the website, investigate errors, and prevent abuse.
  • Maintain business records and comply with applicable legal obligations.

EduOnTrack LLC does not use an email inquiry to enroll a device or create a classroom participant unless the sender separately completes the applicable product onboarding process.

7. How Information Is Shared

Our website hosting and security provider processes technical request information to host, deliver, and protect eduontrack.com. An email sent to EduOnTrack is processed by the sender's email provider and the email provider used for the applicable EduOnTrack address. Those providers process the message as needed to deliver and store the correspondence. Current production providers are identified on our Service Providers and External Services page.

We may disclose information when required by valid legal process, when needed to protect the rights or safety of users or the company, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of assets subject to appropriate confidentiality and continued privacy protections.

8. No Sale, Targeted Advertising, or AI Training

EduOnTrack LLC does not sell information received through eduontrack.com or direct product inquiries. We do not use website or student information for targeted or behavioral advertising, and we do not use student data to train artificial intelligence models.

9. Retention

We retain business and support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain the customer or prospective-customer relationship, document decisions, protect the service, resolve disputes, and meet accounting or legal obligations. Hosting and email-provider logs and backups may remain until overwritten under the provider's normal lifecycle.

10. Children and Student Information

The EduOnTrack company website is directed to school personnel and other adults, not children under 13, and it does not ask students to submit personal information. Student-facing or managed-device activity occurs only in the applicable product and is governed by that product's privacy policy and any school agreement.

11. Access, Correction, and Deletion

You may ask us to review, correct, or delete contact information you sent directly to EduOnTrack LLC. We may request information needed to verify your identity and the communication. For school-controlled DeviceOnTrack or ClassOnTrack records, contact the school or district first or use the privacy contact listed in the applicable product policy.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect website and correspondence information. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, or unnecessary student information by email.

EduOnTrack maintains an incident-response process designed to investigate, contain, remediate, document, and provide legally or contractually required notice of a confirmed incident involving customer information. Additional details are available in the Security Overview.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the website, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.

14. Contact
